Lotus Biscoff has caused a storm on social media recently, with burger chain Five Guys announcing a new Lotus Biscoff milkshake will be making its way onto its menu.

Fans of the biscuit will now be able to order a Lotus Biscoff milkshake in-store or for delivery.

Lotus Biscoff announced the news to their followers on Instagram, and added: “That’s right, there’s a new #LotusBiscoff Shake mix-in on the block at @fiveguysuk!

“How could anyone resist something THIS delicious…? Asking for a friend!”

How to make a Lotus Biscoff milkshake

Ingredients (Serves 1):

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
250ml of milk
5 Biscoff caramelised biscuits, crumbled

Method:

Add your ice cream and milk into a blender and blend until smooth.

Add half the biscuits and mix again.

Pour in a glass and crumble the rest of the biscuits on top.

Another Biscoff milkshake recipe circulating online is the Tomatoes Tohmatos recipe below, which uses Lotus Biscoff cookie butter in addition to biscuits.

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup lotus biscoff creamy cookie butter divided
  • 8 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • a few lotus cookies for garnish crushed

Method

The recipe says: “Optional: Melt 1/4 c of the cookie butter in the microwave for 30 seconds on high. Drizzle it inside two glasses.

“Next, combine the remaining 1/2 c cookie butter, ice cream, and milk in a blender.

“Blend on high for 2 minutes. Pour into the glasses.

“Garnish with whipped cream and crushed lotus cookies.”
