Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper has woken from his coma and opened his eyes

KATE Garraway's husband Derek Draper has woken from his coma and opened his eyes, the Good Morning Britain star revealed tonight.

The 53-year-old presenter explained he was in a "minimum state of consciousness" but remains in intensive care after being hospitalised with coronavirus in March.

Derek, 52, is still unable to speak, with doctors warning he may stay in his current condition, but Kate said there are signs that he can hear.

She told Hello! magazine: "We're keeping positive and doing everything we can to bring him round. The children and I communicate with him every day on FaceTime, while a nurse holds his iPad.

"I really believe he can hear. When medical staff say: 'Good morning, Derek,' he sometimes opens his eyes. We and the doctors are doing everything we can so that he can start to recover."

The mother-of-two added that she was preparing to return to her hosting duties on GMB and Smooth Radio after doctors urged her not to put her life on pause.

Kate's TV co-star Piers Morgan explained last month that Kate's life has become a "living hell" since her husband was hospitalised with coronavirus.

He explained that the pair had been planning to renew their wedding vows this summer, but added: "Agonisingly, Kate doesn’t even know if she will ever get Derek home again."

The former political adviser has overcame coronavirus after being put in a coma, but Kate recently told The Sun she had been warned by doctors that he may never fully recover.

Kate also revealed the final words Derek said to her before he was put in a medically-induced coma, telling his wife: "I love you, you saved my life."

She posted an emotional tribute to him on Father's Day last month, writing: "Whatever happens next I’m afraid it IS going to be a long road, with an uncertain end that isn’t even nearly in sight right now."

Kate added: "After all we are all having to do that aren’t we in one way or another – this ghastly time has affected us all & life deals us blows that we just have to bounce back from & celebrate the good."

Despite now being coronavirus-free, his wife explained that the illness has "wreaked extraordinary damage" on Derek, who is a former lobbyist and political adviser.

He had no underlying health issues before being struck with the illness.

Bradley Walsh ‘time bomb’ as doctors warn he could die from heart disease

Bradley Walsh was warned he could die from a heart disease, as doctors branded him a ‘ticking time bomb’.

The 60-year-old was implored to lose weight immediately after recent health tests, or face fatal consequences.

Following the news, the Chase star – who is married to wife Donna Derby – rushed to get fit, and has now lost 10lbs in lockdown.

‘I was a time bomb. I produce too much cholesterol. It’s a silent killer,’ he explained. ‘My heart guy said, “Look, Brad, you need to get fit”.’

His dad sadly died aged 59, as a result of heart disease – with Bradley explaining this gave him a ‘hang-up’ about turning 60.

He went in for a series of medical exams, including a full medical he undergoes every two years, a carotid artery test and calcium test for his heart.

The Doctor Who actor has hereditary high cholesterol through his mum, with a heart expert begging him to ‘get fit’ and start training to lower this.

‘I was a time bomb. I was quite lucky in regards to the calcium test but my doctor said I produce too much cholesterol. It’s a silent killer,’ he continued to the Sun on Sunday.

‘I thought, “Oh crikey, I’m gonna be bang in trouble here if I don’t lose the weight and start dealing with this”. I decided to get consciously stuck in. So, touch wood, I will be okay.’

This occurred just before lockdown started, with the dad-of-two shocked to find that he was 14st 9lbs – which is the ‘heaviest he has ever been’.

He has since turned his diet around and – thanks to advice from neighbour Mark Wright – has managed to drop 10lbs so far.

Bradley turned 60 last month, with his birthday the subject of a TV special tribute.

Appearing on This Morning ahead of the big day, he told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby he was touched by the honour.

‘It was only yesterday that it seemed I had my 50th birthday and then all of a sudden this thing is happening on telly,’ he said.

‘I feel really quite humbled and a bit emotional actually. I didn’t realise that was going to happen. It’s lovely.’

Kacey Musgraves Files For Divorce From Ruston Kelly

The ‘Golden Hour’ star has decided to end her marriage with Ruston Kelly as she files for divorce more than two years after they got married in October 2017.

AceShowbiz -Country star Kacey Musgraves has called it quits with her musician husband Ruston Kelly.

The couple wed in October 2017, but on Friday (03Jul20), representatives for the singers revealed they had filed for divorce.

In a joint statement issued to The Associated Press, Musgraves and Kelly explained there were no hard feelings and insisted they would always cherish their time spent together.

“With heavy but hopeful hearts we wanted to put our own thoughts into the air about what’s happening,” they share. “These kinds of announcements are always met with scrutiny and speculation and we want to stop that before it even starts.”

“We believe that we were put into each other’s lives for a divine reason and have both changed each other infinitely for the better. The love we have for each other goes far beyond the relationship we’ve shared as husband and wife. It’s a soul connection that can never be erased.”

Admitting it wasn’t easy to pull the plug on their marriage, they continue, “We’ve made this painful decision together – a healthy decision that comes after a very long period of trying the best we can. It simply just didn’t work.”

“Though we are parting ways in marriage, we will remain true friends for the rest of our lives. We hold no blame, anger, or contempt for each other and we ask for privacy and positive wishes for us both as we learn how to navigate through this.”

The news emerges a year after the “Follow Your Arrow” hitmaker credited Kelly with helping her adopt a more optimistic outlook on life, which influenced her Grammy Award-winning album, “Golden Hour”.

“He turned my life around in a lot of ways, and opened me up to seeing the world in a more positive light,” she told V Magazine.

“There’s a lot of hurt out there, and that’s a real part of life. But I was inspired to write about the universe and our souls and where we come from. And this person that I found. The magic of it all.”

Is Turkey set to unveil more details of Jamal Khashoggi murder?

Is Turkey set to unveil more details of Jamal Khashoggi murder? Trial in absentia begins for 20 Saudis accused of his murder, where new evidence could emerge

  • The trial will be closely watched for possible new information or evidence
  • Prosecutors have indicted 20 Saudi nationals over Mr Khashoggi’s grisly killing
  • They are seeking life prison terms for the defendants, who have all left Turkey

A Turkish court has opened the trial in absentia of two former aides of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and 18 other Saudi nationals over the 2018 killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

The trial in Istanbul will be closely watched for possible new information or evidence into the killing, including the whereabouts of Mr Khashoggi’s remains.

Prosecutors have indicted the 20 Saudi nationals over Mr Khashoggi’s grisly killing at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul in 2018, which cast a cloud of suspicion over Prince Mohammed.

They are seeking life prison terms for the defendants, who have all left Turkey.

Saudi Arabia rejected Turkish demands for the suspects’ extradition and put some of them on trial in Riyadh.

The trial will be closely watched for possible new information or evidence into the killing, including the whereabouts of Mr Khashoggi’s remains. Pictured are security guards outside Istanbul’s court house today

The proceedings were widely criticised as a ‘whitewash’, and Mr Khashoggi’s family later announced that they had forgiven his killers.

The Turkish prosecutors have charged the prince’s former advisers, Saud al-Qahtani and Ahmed al-Asiri, with ‘instigating a premeditated murder with the intent of (causing) torment through fiendish instinct’.

Prosecutors are also seeking life prison sentences for 18 other Saudi nationals charged with carrying out ‘a premeditated murder with the intent of (causing) torment through fiendish instincts’.

Mr Khashoggi, who was a resident of the US, had walked into his country’s consulate on October 2 2018 for an appointment to pick up documents that would allow him to get married. He never walked out.

A team of 15 Saudi agents had flown to Turkey to meet Mr Khashoggi inside the consulate.

They included a forensic doctor, intelligence and security officers and individuals who worked for the crown prince’s office.

Turkish officials allege Mr Khashoggi was killed and then dismembered with a bone saw.

Turkey, a rival of Saudi Arabia, apparently had the Saudi Consulate bugged and has shared audio of the killing with the CIA, among others.

Prior to his killing, Mr Khashoggi had written critically of the Saudi crown prince in columns for the Washington Post.

Saudi Arabia had initially offered shifting accounts about Mr Khashoggi’s disappearance. As international pressure mounted because of the Turkish leaks, the kingdom eventually settled on the explanation that he was killed by rogue officials in a brawl.

Turkish prosecutors say the suspects ‘acted in consensus from the beginning in line with the decision of taking the victim back to Saudi Arabia and of killing him if he did not agree’.

An exterior view of the court in Istanbul today where the trial in absentia of two former aides of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and 18 other Saudi nationals over the 2018 killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, is scheduled to begin

Riyadh had insisted that the kingdom’s courts are the correct place for the suspects to be tried, and put 11 people on trial over the killing.

In December, five people were sentenced to death while three others were found guilty of covering up the crime and were sentenced to a combined 24 years in prison.

During the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in May, Mr Khashoggi’s son announced that the family had pardoned the killers, giving a legal reprieve to the five government agents who were sentenced to death.

Tech titan Peter Thiel 'doesn't think Trump can win reelection'

Tech billionaire Peter Thiel ‘is distancing himself from Donald Trump because he doesn’t think he will win re-election and has compared the President’s campaign to the Gilligan’s Island shipwreck’

  • Insiders say Peter Thiel has become increasingly pessimistic about President Donald Trump’s re-election prospects in recent weeks
  • The venture capitalist and PayPal founder was one of the few tech leaders to publicly back Trump in 2016, donating $1.25million to his campaign
  • But this year he appears to have distanced himself from the president
  • Sources close to the billionaire claim that he believes the struggling economy could ruin Trump’s chance at staying in the White House
  • One person said Thiel likened Trump’s campaign to the ‘S.S. Minnow’ – a ship that ran aground on the television series Gilligan’s Island
  • It comes after reports that Thiel disapproved of Trump’s response to COVID-19

Tech billionaire Peter Thiel, once President Donald Trump’s most prominent supporter in Silicon Valley, is reportedly distancing himself from this year’s presidential campaign because he feels re-election is unlikely.

Thiel, a venture capitalist who made his fortune as co-founder of PayPal, was one of the few tech leaders to publicly back Trump in 2016, donating $1.25million to his campaign and describing him as the man who could rebuild America during the Republican National Convention.

Despite publicly stating in 2018 that he supports Trump’s bid for another term in the White House, Thiel has remained largely silent throughout the current election cycle, without donating a single cent to the president’s campaign.

It’s now emerged that Thiel has expressed concerns over Trump’s re-election prospects in conversations with friends and associates at his oceanfront home in Hawaii in recent weeks.

Sources told the Wall Street Journal that Thiel believes the US economy will likely be stuck in deep recession with double-digit unemployment when the election rolls around in November – one that would put any sitting president at a dire disadvantage to a challenger.

One person close to Thiel said the billionaire likened Trump’s campaign to the ‘S.S. Minnow’ – a ship that ran aground on the television series Gilligan’s Island.

The sources claimed that Thiel is not planning to donate any money to his campaign this year, nor does he intend to speak at the Republican convention next month.

They said that Thiel may still vote for Trump, as he feels presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden is aligned too closely with traditional liberal ideologies, and that he is unlikely to publicly distance himself from the president because he sees no benefit in doing so.

Thiel, a self-proclaimed Libertarian whose net worth is valued by Forbes at $2.3billion, did not return WSJ’s requests for comment.

Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh insisted to the newspaper that Thiel has been and remains a supporter of the president.

In 2016 Thiel was virtually alone among tech giants in supporting Trump, whose anti-immigration rhetoric was at odds with views widely held by Silicon Valley giants like Apple, Amazon, Google, and others.

Thiel reveled in Trump’s victory that year, telling friends he was equally thrilled about picking the winning candidate and seeing Trump’s campaign promises come to fruition.

Their relationship reportedly began to sour less than a year later in August 2017, when Thiel told confidants that the administration was ‘incompetent’ and that he feared Trump’s presidency would ‘end in disaster’, according to BuzzFeed News.

However, Thiel donated to Trump again around the midterm elections in 2018 and maintained his close ties with the White House, once attending a private dinner with the president and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Then in May of this year reports emerged that Trump had further alienated Thiel with his handing of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sources close to the billionaire told The Daily Beast that he had been ‘s**t-talking’ Trump’s botched management of the crisis.

One member of the president’s inner circle told the outlet that Thiel has ‘ghosted’ Trump associates.

Thiel was one of the few tech leaders to publicly back Trump in 2016, donating $1.25million to his campaign and describing him as the man who could rebuild America during a speech at the Republican National Convention (pictured)

Thiel (seen right with then-President-elect Trump and then-Vice President-elect Mike Pence in New York in December 2016) reveled in Trump’s victory, telling friends he was equally thrilled about picking the winning candidate and seeing Trump’s campaign promises come to fruition

Thiel’s apparent break from Trump came despite the fact that his data-mining venture, Palantir, has benefited from billions of dollars in government contracts.

In March, Palantir won an $80million contract to build a logistics management system for the US Navy’s warships and aircraft, according to The Washington Post.

In February, Palantir won an $823million contract to provide software to the Pentagon.

The firm has longstanding ties to some of the country’s most feared intelligence and law enforcement agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Palantir also recently worked with the Trump administration to help the government build a ‘single source’ database that would help mitigate the effects of the spread of the coronavirus, according to The Daily Beast.

The ‘Protect Now’ platform unveiled by the Department of Health and Human Services uses data from across federal, state, and local governments as well as health care facilities and colleges in order to help the administration to better ‘mitigate and prevent spread’ of COVID-19.

Amid that collaboration, however, Thiel reportedly became ‘frustrated’ with the president’s performance, particularly during his briefings on the virus.

Trump’s briefings raised questions about his ability to lead the country during a time of crisis, particularly after the sessions descended into tense back-and-forth exchanges with the press.

The president also gave conflicted messaging about following social distancing guidelines while urging supporters to ‘liberate’ states that imposed lockdowns in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.

Trump also touted a drug used to treat malaria, hydroxychloroquine, as a possible cure for COVID-19, though this claim has been refuted by medical experts.

The president also drew widespread ridicule when he suggested that bleach or disinfectant cleaner can be used to rid the body of the virus. Trump later insisted he was being sarcastic.

The administration has faced fierce criticism after reports surfaced indicating that Trump ignored dire warnings from top officials about the approaching pandemic.

Thiel raised alarm about the virus early on as it spread across the world, recalling Palatir staff from abroad in mid-February, ahead of most other American companies.

Sources close to Thiel say he is not planning to donate any money to Trump’s campaign this year, nor does he intend to speak at the Republican convention next month. Trump is pictured on the campaign trail during a half-empty rally in Tulsa on June 20

The insiders also said that Thiel likened Trump’s campaign to the ‘S.S. Minnow’ – a ship that ran aground on the television series Gilligan’s Island (pictured)

The cast of Gilligan’s Island are seen above in the 1960s: (from left to right) Russell Johnson (Professor), Dawn Wells (Mary Ann), Bob Denver (Gilligan), Tina Louise (Ginger Grant), Jim Backus (Thurston Howell 3rd), Natalie Schafer (Mrs. Lovey Howell), Alan Hale Jr. (The Skipper)

Sources told WSJ that Thiel was disappointed by the pace of Trump’s response to the crisis that has left the economy in the worst shape it’s been in since the Great Depression with tens of millions of Americans filing for unemployment benefits.

While he’s willing to cut Trump some slack over the pandemic, sources said that he doesn’t believe the campaign has done enough to convince voters to keep him around.

The insiders also said that they expect Thiel to use his vast resources to bolster GOP candidates in the House and Senate in hopes of securing a Republican majority in at least one branch of government.

‘His biggest concern is that if people vote down the ticket, everything flips in one direction,’ one person familiar with Thiel’s plans said.

Thiel has continued to fund his own political-action committee, Free Forever, which is committed to limiting immigration, ending wars and adding jobs for working-class Americans.

Thiel reportedly expressed frustration with Trump’s botched management of the coronavirus crisis in May. As of Thursday, more than 2.7 million COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the US and more than 128,000 people have died

'Friends': What Is David Schwimmer's Favorite Episode From the Sitcom?

Every Friends fan has a favorite episode (or two or three) of the show. All of the episodes over the show’s 10-season run are hilarious, but some just were more memorable to each of us, for different reasons, than others.

This is even true for the cast of the award-winning show. The 6 stars of the show (David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow) each have an episode of Friends that holds a special place in their hearts. Ross fans everywhere are dying to know: what was Schwimmer’s favorite Friends episode? This is The One Where we tell you the answer!

Schwimmer’s character on ‘Friends’

Schwimmer fabulously plays Ross Geller on Friends, a nerdy and lovable paleontologist who spends most of the series’ 10 seasons desperately in love with Rachel (played by Jennifer Aniston). His goofy quirks and dedication to those he loves make him an endearing character, not to mention his outrageously hilarious attitude and dilemmas that are impossible not to laugh at.

Friends was Schwimmer’s breakout role in acting, but since the show ended it seemed like he preferred to stay out of the Hollywood limelight. He famously voiced the hypochondriac giraffe, Melman, on the Madagascar animated film series, and more recently he’s returned to television starring as Robert Kardashian in the miniseries The People vs. O.J. Simpson.

He also recently starred in the 2019 Netflix movie Laundromat alongside Meryl Streep. Compared to some of his costars like Jennifer Aniston, for example, Schwimmer seems to have largely stepped back from the Hollywood life.

What is Schwimmer’s favorite ‘Friends’ episode?

RELATED: Which ‘Friends’ Actor Has the Highest Net Worth: Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, or David Schwimmer?

Glamour magazine reported that in a special event to honor Friends director James Burrows, Schwimmer revealed that one of his favorite episodes was “The One With the Blackout.”

In this episode which aired in Friends‘ first season, Ross tries to confess his feelings to Rachel but a stray cat jumps on his back and he has a massive freakout.

Schwimmer shared at the time that Burrows had told him while they were filming the hilarious scene that he’d tell him to when it was time to stop acting like the stray cat was attacking him. However, according to Schwimmer, Burrows forgot to actually tell him to stop, which led to the outrageous freak-out that we see Ross having.

“I don’t know if I’d say it was my absolute favorite episode, but I loved doing “The One With the Blackout”. That was a memorable one, but there are so many,” Glamour quoted Schwimmer as saying at the time.

Fun fact: “The One With The Blackout” is also Courtney Cox’s favorite Friends episode. Cox plays Ross’ sister Monica on the show, so perhaps this speaks to a connection between the on-screen siblings.

“The One With the Blackout” isn’t the only Friends episode that stands out to Schwimmer as a favorite. He also named “The One With the Holiday Armadillo” as one of the most memorableepisodes he filmed.

Any Friends fan will remember this episode, in which Ross becomes obsessed with teaching his young son, Ben, about Hanukkah, because Ben has only learned about Christmas traditions thus far in his life.

Later on in the episode, Ross changes his mind and tries to rent a Santa suit to please Ben, but this close to Christmas, there are no Santa suits available. This leads Ross to rent an armadillo costume instead, and names it the “Holiday Armadillo”, who teaches Ben all about Hanukkah.

This episode was so special to Schwimmer that he shared with US Magazine that he’d like to be able to show it to his daughter, Cleo, someday. Schwimmer also has Jewish heritage, so it sounds like he’s hoping to use the Holiday Armadillo to teach Cleo about Hanukkah, too.

‘Jealous’ family dog mauls newborn babies to death in Brazil

Two newborn twin sisters in Brazil were mauled to death by their family dog in what relatives described as a possible act of “jealously,” according to a report Thursday.

Elaine Novais had left her prematurely born one-month-old babies, Anne and Analú, alone briefly while she talked to a neighbor at her home in Piripá on June 23 when the Labrador-Foxhound mix struck, according to The Sun.

Novais, 29, heard the infants crying in a bedroom and dragged the canine away from them but the animal had already critically injured both of their abdomens, according to the outlet, which cited a police report.

A neighbor, who worked as a nursing assistant, rushed to help the twins and they were taken to Maria Pedreira Barbosa Municipal Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to the report. Novais collapsed with shock and grief after hearing they had perished.

“This has devastated the parents,” neighbor Maria de Jesus said, according to the outlet. “I pray that they don’t fall into a depression but it will be difficult because the children were beautiful, really loved and desperately wanted.”

The dog had lived with Novais and her husband, Regis, for five years and was usually gentle but may have felt “left out” after the twins were born, an unnamed family member said.

“We think that with the arrival of the twins, the animal no longer had the attention and affection of its owners that it had been used to,” an unnamed family member said, according to the outlet.

“This may have caused some kind of jealousy and led what was normally a docile animal to attack the children.”

One of the babies died instantly from the wounds while the other was gravely injured and suffered a cardiac arrest, according to the report. The couple has two dogs but the second one is not believed to have been involved in the attack.

The tragic event comes after Novais and Regis, 32, had tried unsuccessfully to start a family for nine years, according to the report.

Officials in Piripá, a small northern town, expressed sympathy for the heartbroken parents.

“In the face of this immeasurable loss, we express our condolences and sympathy with parents Elaine and Regis, and their friends and family in this moment of sadness and pain,” the town said in a statement.

Khloe Kardashian warns fans ‘don’t talk to me about loyalty’ as she gets back together with baby daddy Tristan Thompson – The Sun

KHLOE Kardashian warns fans "don't talk to me about loyalty" as she gets back together with baby daddy Tristan Thompson.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 36, is reportedly back with Tristan a year after his cheating scandal with ex friend Jordyn Woods.

However, Khloe has posted a cryptic message about "loyalty" – in what appears to be a warning not to lecture her.

The first post reads: "Your greatest test will be how you handle people who mishandled you."

The second says: "Don't talk to me about loyalty, I'm still here holding secrets for people who are throwing dirt on my name."

This comes as reports Khloe is back with her baby daddy have intensified.

A source told PEOPLE that the two are "giving their relationship another try".

They added: "Tristan is working hard to prove himself and has been a great dad to True."

On Saturday Tristan Thompson publicly told Khloe he "loves her" in a sweet birthday tribute.

As Khloe turned 36, Tristan shared an adorable selfie taken of him, Khloe and True on a trampoline, and praised the reality star for helping him to learn and grow.

He wrote: "I’m wise enough now to know, you came into my life to show me just what it means to be an incredible person.

"I appreciate how I am able to learn from and grow because of you. I thank God for the beautiful and loving woman you are to everyone, especially our daughter True.

"You deserve the world Koko! True and I love you mama. Happy Birthday @khloekardashian.

In the picture, all three are full of the giggles as they collapse back on the trampoline, with True cuddled into her mama.

The couple split in February 2019, after Tristan got close to former family friend Jordyn Woods.

It wasn't the first time he'd been caught in a tryst with another woman – Khloé went into labor when pictures of him leaving a club with another woman emerged when she was nine months pregnant.

In recent months however the pair have grown closer, and it is thought Khloe's sisters approve of her decision to allow him back into her life.

Last week, Khloe sparked rumors she may be engaged to Tristan after she was seen wearing a gigantic diamond ring on during her birthday celebrations.

In a series of different pictures, Khloe was wearing the same ring, despite different outfits.

She captioned one set of snaps: "Birthday Glam.

"Tomorrow I’m flooding my time-line with party pics. Btw… I’m loving my brown hair. I never thought would say that lol blonde still owns my heart but this brown is giving me a little something right now."

Amsterdam’s famous red light district back in business after lockdown as sex workers boast they’re already fully booked

AMSTERDAM’S famous red light district is back in business after the coronavirus lockdown and business is already booming.

Business is not quite back to normal though as sex workers and clients have to follow strict new regulations.

⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates

The city closed its brothels in mid-March and had originally planned to keep them shut until September, but recently brought the date forward as coronavirus cases fell.

Romanian sex worker Felicia Anna, 34, said it “felt very good” to be back at work.

Anna, who is chairwoman of the Red Light United trade union, said: “During the lockdown, a lot of sex workers ran into financial trouble so we’re very happy that we can finally start our job again.”

There had been fears there would be fewer clients due to most of them being tourists and a travel ban in many countries is still in place.

However, ‘Foxxy’, a sex worker and activist at the Prostitution Information Center in Amsterdam claimed she was “totally booked” yesterday.

‘Foxxy’, who rents a room just outside the red light district added she “had a little party” when she heard the government’s June 24 announcement that sex work could restart.

Sex in Amsterdam – the do’s and don’t’s

Sex workers already adhere to strict health safety regulations but special precautions are now in place due to the coronavirus

Do

Deep clean all windows, beds and surfaces

Gloves, face masks and hand sanitiser have to be available

Rooms have be thoroughly cleaned after each session, including all objects

Unions have told workers “don’t shake hands” with clients

Don’t

No heavy breathing or kissing

Certain sexual positions are out especially ones in the client’s “moist breath zone”

While business has started again there are a number of rules that have to be followed to combat the spread of Covid-19.

Sex workers have to verify that their clients do not have Covid-19 symptoms.

‘Foxxy’ said: “Before I make an appointment, I have to check with the client if they’re feeling ok and if they don’t have any of the symptoms, or if any of their housemates has symptoms.”

Other measures include “disinfection and washing the hands, cleaning the sheets after every appointment.

“Those are the basic needs. But we don’t need to wear any face masks during the playdates, thank God”.

‘Foxxy’ added: “most of us will avoid face to face, so no kissing”.

Janet van der Berg, from the Prostitution Information Centre, said: “There are hand gels and we’ve thought about what positions are handy – or not – but that’s not in an official protocol, you can work that out for yourself.”

Anna said that “after the customer leaves the room, we’re going to disinfect everything he might have touched, bed, sink, the toilet if he used the toilet, the doorknobs, everything”.

She added that sex workers were already used to following strict hygiene rules, saying: “We already dealt with much bigger diseases than corona.”

Dutch Deputy Prime Minister Hugo de Jonge announced a “new phase” in The Netherlands battle with the coronavirus pandemic but said people still had to remain vigilant about the killer virus.

The Netherlands legalised prostitution in 2000 and sex workers have to register with the local chamber of commerce and pay income tax.

There are around 7,000 sex workers in Amsterdam, according to official figures.

The Bravolebrity captioned the shot: "Making dinner for my fam/neighbors -#snack on this."

She later tweeted: "It’s 1millionpercent DR !!! NOT A DR look alike."

However, Brandi initially said the mystery woman is a friend who is a “single mom to two boys.”

But RHOBH fans suspected otherwise commenting: “She looks like Denise…”

A second said: “It’s Denise isn’t it? Brandi was wearing that top when she filmed going out for dinner with Denise last season?”

A third wrote: “There’s Brandi and Denise.”

How long have the two allegedly been having an affair?

This season is gearing up to Brandi Glanville's alleged affair with Denise.

The two were apparently together from early 2019 through the middle of last year.

Denise had reportedly told Brandi during this time, she and her husband, Aaron Phypers, were in an open marriage.

However, the Bravo mom of three Denise has refuted these claims.

What did Denise say about the relationship?

In January, The Daily Mail reported Denise walked away from filming over alleged rumors that she had an affair with Brandi.

Denise recently told SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show filming the second season, amid the affair rumors, has been "very difficult for me."

Brandi claimed Denise said her husband Aaron would "kill her" if he knew.

Denise went on: "It's been a different experience."

But she laughed: "But, you know, people are watching, so that's good."

Responding to Brandi's affair claims, Denise added: "If it airs the way it was shot, then people will see what happened."

In trailers for the show, Brandi told some of the ladies: “Denise and Aaron have this whole open thing."

The statement was made as a clip was shown of her spanking Denise while Aaron stood nearby.

“I f***ed her, woke up the next morning and she said, 'Aaron can never know this. He'll kill me,’” the reality star fired off.

Kyle looked stunned as her jaw dropped and Lisa appeared to be speechless.

In another scene, Denise said of the rumors: "What the f**k? That’s not true."
