The Boys season 2, episode 8 was released on Amazon Prime Video today (October 9) and honoured one of its contributors in a special message. Here’s everything you need to know about who Andrew Jack was and why he was remembered in the series.
Who was Andrew Jack?
As the credits rolled on the season finale of The Boys season two, one star was given a special tribute.
In a title card, the show wrote: “In memory of Andrew Jack (1944-2020).”
Jack was an actor and dialect coach from London who had worked on over 80 films and series across his career.
He died on March 31, 2020 at the age of 76-years-old from coronavirus COVID-19.
The news was confirmed by his wife Gabrielle Rogers on Twitter at the time.
She wrote: “We lost a man today. Andrew Jack was diagnosed with coronavirus two days ago.
“He was in no pain, and he slipped away peacefully knowing that his family were all ‘with’ him.”
