Who is Trump attorney Jenna Ellis and what has she said on Twitter?

JENNA Ellis is one of the Trump campaign's senior legal advisers who joined the team last year.

She recently went on a Twitter rant to support President Trump's claims of voter fraud after his loss against Joe Biden.

Who is Jenna Ellis?

Jenna Ellis is one of the Trump campaign's senior legal advisers.

She has been a staunch supporter of the President despite calling him an "idiot" when he was first elected into power in 2016.

Ellis, who is Christian, is an author and has published a book titled The Legal Basis for a Moral Constitution: A Guide for Christians to Understand America's Constitutional Crisis.

What has she said on Twitter?

Ellis has been furiously contesting Joe Biden's win against Donald Trump on November 7, backing the President and his counsel's voter fraud claims.

"This is all about election official fraud. They changed the rules against the laws established by the state legislatures. That is illegal and unconstitutional," she wrote on November 21.

"No one really believes this election was honest. It was STOLEN and we all know it. That’s why they’re scared," she declared.

She also tweeted a statement from the Trump campaign demanding a recount in Georgia.

"Today, the Trump campaign filed a petition for a recount in Georgia. We are focused on ensuring that every aspect of Georgia State Law and that the US Constitution are followed so that every legal vote is counted," the message said.

"President Trump and his campaign continue to insist on an honest recount in Georgia, which has included signature matching and other vital safeguards."

"There must be a time when we stop counting illegal ballots. Hopefully its coming soon."

When did she become Donald Trump's legal advisor?

Ellis joined the Trump campaign a year ago and has since become one of the President's most ardent defenders.

Trump's longshot election challenge recently suffered a body blow when key members of his legal team learned they were potentially exposed to coronavirus by Rudy Giuliani's son.

Andrew Giuliani who is a special assistant to the president and the son of Trump's personal lawyer announced on Friday morning that he had contracted coronavirus.

If crucial members of that small, core legal team may now have to quarantine, the sidelining could severely hinder Trump's battle to overturn the vote counts in numerous states where he's alleged fraud.

One day after Andrew Giuliani was seen in the back of a room packed with reporters listening to his father speak at a press conference, he tweeted that he'd contracted Covid.

Ellis told Axios that "the entire Giuliani-affiliated legal team was probably exposed."

Other White House staffers who have been infected in the past six weeks are First Lady Melania Trump, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, Trump senior advisers Stephen Miller and Hope Hicks, and the chiefs of staff to both the president and Vice President Mike Pence.
